Hey all
So I've just got myself 10 chaos termites and I was wondering why people think is the bet way to arm them ATM I've got 1 reaper 5 twin lightning claws and 2combi melts. What should the 10 new ones be? I'll be doing alpha legion if people think that makes a diff Cheers Bryan -------------------- |

Termites? Is that a local nickname for them?
Anyway, my most common configuration is a unit of 4, with 3x combi-meltas, a chainfist and a heavy flamer. Mark of Chaos Glory would probably be best, but I tend to use Khorne (as it's a World Eaters army). The unit invariably deep strikes near an Icon (unless I'm feeling lucky) and usually succeed in melting a tank. The chainfist and heavy flamer make the unit useful and still threatening after they drop and use their meltas. If you're still assembling them, I'd recommend keeping them as flexible as possible, as we don't know what the new codex (due towards the end of the year) will bring. I've taken to magnetising all of my Termies for that very reason |

TermINATORS.
Termites are small (Rhino sized, more or less) burrowing transport vehicles in 40k. Usage of the right names tends to get more in the way of responses. As it is, I came looking for cute little thunderbirds style burrowing vehicles and don't play Chaos (don't even play 40k anymore), so can't help with that. -------------------- Not sent from my Lumia800 using the microwave as a proxy server.

Second.. in the current codex, just leaving them with stock gear is best, to keep them cheap. Combi-weapons and one chainfist per unit are the only worthwhile upgrades. Keep the units small too. Although realistically you'r eunlikely to need more than a handful of termie sin a competitive list, so you may want to arm the rest with a variety of weapons, or even magnetise them - who knows what a new codex will bring! (Even just an FAQ saw me redoing all my Deathwing..) -------------------- Please ban everyone.

3 units of 3, with a Reaper Autocannon and either combimeltas or combiplasmas.
