Hello, all!

This here is the official announcement that Jagged Alliance, SA's famed team based tourney, will be taking place in 2012, proudly brought to you by the team that has been part of it from the start, the Knights of Purity and Valour, AKA KoPaV. Both Legion Wargaming and South East Battlefront have run this event in the past and it has always been a hoot- now the baton has passed on to us, and we will ensure that the qualities that make Jagged Alliance unique will endure!

The details as they stand thus far:

Date: 17th-18th November 2012
Venue: Casa de Dawson, Bridgewater, SA

We will be running with the classic 3-man team format, with some funky missions and a few surprises thrown in.

Points level, scoring, entry fees, etc are still under discussion at the moment, however all necessary details will be finalised by the end of the month and an official players pack will be published then. However, given that the fluffiest bunnies to ever fluff bunny are running the show, you can guarantee there will be a composition component, and a theme component!

Due to some venue limitations, we will be setting a team cap at 8, possibly 10 teams. For the same reasons, and also to ensure the Jagged Alliance spirit prevails, we will be providing right of first refusal to those teams and their members who have attended Jagged Alliance in the past. A full list of those names will be published in the next week.

Same weekend as a Southern event, think there is even 2 events scheduled in for that day if I am reading it correctly.

The format sounds pretty awesome though so will be happy to try it out.

The Southern Event is 40k in 40 minutes. These 2 events will attract different crowds so shouldnt pose any issue at all. The other event scheduled for the same weekend was Incitatus, my event, but I have cancelled it and we slotted JA right in on top of it.
