No man...

Lots of people do it... Shouldn't be an issue...

Fairly commonplace these days...

Go with whatever chapter you want. Most 'deathwing' armies that I have seen around, aren't even darkangels, most have been from other chapters.

Although the "...wing" variant names are interesting and oddly appropriate, like the 1ksons "Dustwing".

Would people care about Ultramarines Deathwing? Of course without the special characters. tongue.gif

Remember, Mathhammer doesn't annoy people, people annoy people.

Mathhammer is just a tool, like some people are tools.

Gday mate
not that it means squat but I am doing my Chapter at the moment and will be using different rules for each Company.
At the moment I am doing a "Search & Rescue" style Company ( probably the 6th ) that has Purity Above All and Have Faith In Suspicion.
The next one I'd like to do is the 10th Company with all/mostly Scouts.
I will also be doing a ? Ravenwing/Landspeeder Company and my HQ Company will be using Ultramarines rules with Marneus Calgar etc.
I'd also like to do a Deathwing/1st Coy.
All in the same Colours.

I've seen "deathwing" lists in just about every colour you care to name (including my own Ultramarines). So yeah, go for it.

Fair enough. A lot of people do it but from a dark angels point of view...YOU ARE ALL HERETICS!. Personally i'd prefer if non-deathwing armies used the force organisation of deathwing but not the special rules eg.stubborn, which is one of the few special things the space marine codex didn't destroy. But like they said everyone does it, i just wanted to whinge a bit. biggrin.gif

But they cant. Personally Id prefer if I didnt have to pay another squads worth to upgrade all my models to stubborn, but then the force wouldnt be legal.

As long as there isnt a Space Wolf with a Lion Helm, I dont think there's much to worry about wink.gif
