Well, heres what I'm taking...

Should be fun, friendly, and able to take on most things, hell, it might even stand a chance against an opponents army! That would be a first for an army made by me!!

I'll probably also keep this army for the Medusa V campaign, or only slightly change it to remove the Armoured Fist squad and make them another platoon...

I think it is quite a good list, though I think that plasma cannons on the demolisher would be better. I know whenever I face my brothers guard army and he equips his demolisher with plasma it is a real thorn in the side of my marine force.
Great to see a psyker, i know they can be randomn, but I think they are an underutilised force!
Infiltrating stormtroopers are also a must in any guard force.
Anyways, I've commented!

Zapp: it was simple really. Kill-bots have a preset "kill limit", once they reach this limit, they shut down. knowing their weakness, i just sent wave after wave of our own men into battle against them, once they killed them all, they were effectively shut down.

Thanks Ashen,

I dig the comment on plasma, however, I have stated my position on plasma cannons on Demolisher in the 40k General discussion... seems like too much of a points sink for me, and its not in line with how I play the demolisher... Its an attack tank to me, and doesnt require them.

I love the psyker!! I dont think he is very useful, but I like the model for it and it fits the theme of my army (air force ground troops) as he is actually meant to be an astropath/psyker...

yep, the stormies are great, it was a hard choice between plasma and melta options, but I stuck with plasma as its more useful if they cant infiltrate...

Looks like a really nice list mate. No problems from me.

Guard have so many options that it is hard to perfect it, however this seems like a nice balanced list. Good stuff.

Now get painting.

xstatika - thanks mate, thats what I was trying for, balance!! (once I get balance perfected, then i'll go off and do crazy stuff like an AC list, or an all footsloggers list! ha ha)

and yeah, painting... damn.... only got 1/2 the roughriders, 2 infantry squads, 1/2 the stormtroops and the turret of the demolisher to go! YAY!!!!!
