Sydney Gaming clubs can U help Necronomicon 40K, seeking playing surfaces + tables for new tourny Options

Hi

As you're possibly aware I'm starting up a new 2-day 40K tournament for Easter, based in Newtown. I have the venue sorted but only have school desks, so I need some help please in organising both tables (maybe trestle tables hired somewhere, can anyone make a suggestion?) and playing surfaces (6x4 min).

I am very fortuante that Dave Dinglestad from the Parramatta GW Battle Bunker has kindly offered to supply terrain (So long as we treat it nicely) so that part is sorted. I'm hoping to offer terrain prizes as well, so the players should be augmenting that as well.

I know some of the clubs have supported budding tournies in this way before. Such as the kind support given to the North Sydney campaign con late last year.

Currently I am thinking I need at least 20 tables, and wouldn't mind if I could manage 25 tables if I got the players.

Oh, for those who have experience, am I right in assuming a 10m x 50m hall can reasonably handle up to 25 tables? I think I left good room, with 2m+ between each table, tables in rows of 3 so big spaces for corridors along each side.

Any help would be muchly appreciated. I am trying to keep the costs down but of course am willing to contribute a small fee to any club that can help. Will I have to hire ttrestle tables from a hiring firm? ANy suggestions who to try for the best deals?

While I am prepared to hire a truck to transport, if anyone could assist on that side it would be unreal as well.
