awesome quotes ive found :D A space marine is only 28mm tall, so clearly we would own them. They deploy a whole battalion of titans on Earth? Sweet, theyre about the same size as a puppy, run them down in your car. ;) quote by Guard Treadhead "I heard the next dark eldar character is this crazy dude called "Jesus", he runs around turning the table into bread and wine, everything hits him on a 2+. If you kill him he rises from the dead next turn but runs away and the guy that killed him spends 4 turns crying" |

Agreed, 1 is better as a stand alone game vs. 2. I really enjoyed playing 2 though, as continuation of story etc.

Personally I think 2 had a better storyline, but both had pretty decent gameplay.

I found both KOTOR games were pretty good. 1 had a slightly beter story, but 2 has a nicer interface. I played them in backwards order if that changes anything.

KOTOR 1 was better by far, and kotor 2 had too many bells and whistles that werent used. And 1 had better twists and turns, even if you had to put up with the cat girl and stuck up princess jedi (aka bastilla)

What bells and whistles? I cant recall anything like that. Not saying you're wrong. Just want enlightenment.

whatr do you guys think is better kotor 1 or 2 I liked 1 AND 2. First one was a more concise (more powerful) story, and really enjoyable, the second one was more convoluted (even a bit muddy). Second one seemed to have more speech options/detail, but both games made being dark a bit stupid sometimes. Occasionally the only way to be dark was to select a really unintelligent option which made little sense. Second game had many more lightsaber tailoring options (sweet), but a lot of other "frills" were just a bit useless. Also, I liked the optional mini games in 2. Didn't get stuck trying to pass a swoop level if I didn't want to. Dunno much about SFcommand tho. -------------------- What's the opposite of repent? Advocate? |

It also depends a lot what kind of RPG you like. But i can tell you, KOTOR 2 was one of the few games of played more than once. I haven't had 1 to bother doing it again yet.

I liked KOTOR 2 was better until the ending.

I liked KOTOR 2 was better until the ending. I only played Light side so I got the anti-climactic scene of *SPOILER*. Did you happen to play Dark side at all? If you did can you PM me the basic gist of it (yes I am lazy and can not be bothered playing the WHOLE game again to get the different ending) -------------------- "Few things are impossible to diligence and skill. Light. You kill Kriea or something. Cue your ship flying away to find the guy from the first game fighting the true sith or something.
Dark. You kill Kriea or something. Cue not much happening at all. -------------------- Und der Haifisch, der hat Zähne,
Und die trägt er im Gesicht. Und Macheath, der hat ein Messer, Doch das Messer sieht man nicht. |
