QUOTE WE's? You're joking right? T3 and jack all armour save? Even with netlings that's half your magic points used.. a couple of lucky hits and he's gone. Why would the WE hero general be in a situation where he'll get hit? Even with no restrictions I've seen lots of WE lists with no Lord. -------------------- |

I've seen plenty of wood elf lists with only two characters and no lord- in fact I've fielded them and they've worked well.

I'll be taking skaven with a lord. Although the extra 150 allows me to take more rats, i think i have enough and the extra LD will come in very handy. -------------------- The Wargamer A Team TWATIFAUX - a TWAT run malifaux tourney. Now, now.... Warhammer is a game of skill. Definitely no cruches or luck is involved when a BLOrc Warlord kills half a Dwarf army (including Lord in one round) by himself

Probably won't take a lord as with my brilliant luck he/she never seems to kill much anyway, Extra 150 pts is a whole unit of Dark Elf crossbowman.

What do people think about skaven lists... Do they need the Lord choice? B I'm taking a warlord, pretty much because of the extra ld but also because i really cant be bothered painting another 150pts of rats. But my mate is taking a grey seer, so he has better magic but less ld. It's really just what you feel is more important. More ld (warlord), more magic (seer) or more numbers (hero). -------------------- The Wargamer A Team TWATIFAUX - a TWAT run malifaux tourney. Players pack is here. 7th of April 2013. Defintely not.
Many Skaven players do fine with a Ld 6 general (grey seer usually) and Skaven don't "need" a lot of magic to do well. -------------------- |

It works out I could fit in another 250pts worth of Iron Guts, as +150pts and the diference between Lord and Bruiser = many points. Probably won't but tempting, I think the balance is right though, and well done to the ConVic guys for the innovative idea. -------------------- Obi-Wan: "So what I told you was true, from a certain point of view."

A Skaven warlord may be best if you have lots of units that can't add rank (Jezzials, Globadiers), and Ld10 Inf Blocks are always nice. Know I'll be taking a Warlord, so just try and kill him before I do.
-------------------- Because of the beast. They say it's as big as four cats, and it's got a retractable leg so as it can leap up at you better and you know what, it lights up at night, and it's got four ears. Two of them are for listening and the other two are kind of back-up ears, and it's claws are as big as cups and for some reason it's got a tremendous fear of stamps. It's got magnets on it's tail so's if you're made out of metal it can attach itself to you, and instead of a mouth it's got four arses. And some of his ears are on the inside of his head, and when he yawns it sounds like Liam Neeson chasing a load of hens around inside a barrel.
