Are you sure 4th ed rules are going to be used as 5th ed would have been out for 2 and a half months.
Regardless I plan to be there -------------------- "Hail ÆON - Slayer of the Scrubs" Yes, I really am that awesome :) |

At this moment, 4th Edition Rules are set.
This is possible to change depending on how much it affects the players and terrain. Unfortunately I remember the first three months of both 3rd and 4th edition and the turmoil they caused amongst player base and don't want to run a tourny amongst that! Also the new effects of terrain need to be looked at in reference to the terrain we have at the Club as well.. So for the moment anyway, 4th edition is in play. Will make a final decision by the mid of August. Promise. Truly..... |

As always I am very keen and will do my best to take home another trophy...
A bit curious about your decision to playn4th but I'll still play so long as it's 40K and not twiddly winks or something! mmm, a final chance to utilise those super duper 4th ed combos kike Holofalcons, and my Eldar is actually underoated can I do it in time, just 3 months after Lords, surely even I can manage a couple of coats on ~50 models in that time! Famous last words.. 8am??? Homina homina homina, Ill need to leave home by 6:30... I predict tardiness! Gotta say, that with the rules I have seen I am strongly leaning towwards 5th edition.....
Decision will be made after official release of the 12th June when I am absolutely sure!!! At the moment I am personnaly lenaing toward 5th ed but they tell me this is a democracy soooooo..... (I thought it was a militaristic Dictatorship myself but meh what do I know........) |

+1 for 5th ed.
I am strongly considering making this my 1st ever GW tournament if it is played under 5th ed rules. I won't have played 4th ed for a few months at the time of it, so would probably not bother going if it was 4th ed. This post has been edited by kingma15: Jul 4 2008, 10:50 PM |

+1 for 5th ed.
Being out of the loop for a while, and would prefer to come back in on the 5th ed, instead of trying to learn the changes with 5th ed, as well as refresh myself on 4th ed. Although, I do understand why you've chosen 4th ed. at the moment. As yes, it can be tricky running a tournament on a new system, when not only players, but refs, are still getting used to the new system. I'll come regardless of what rules are used, would just prefer 5th. Being to long since my pups saw some decent action -------------------- "Forgiveness is between them and god.
