OK, due to an oversight on my part, I left the due date of when armylists are due off. Obviously, checking 100+ (hopefully!) lists is going to take some time, so I'd like to make the cutoff date 2/1/09.
I'll repeat that in large letters: 2/1/09 We also have our panel for Dogcon composition worked out: Ben Hayes - chunky04 Daniel Andersen - theWarboss Doug Rossendale - Mutator Mike Crossman - mikecro Adrian Stakula - Staks These fine folk have volunteered to give their time to help the tournament out (and yes their real names will hopefully be up soon) despite the fact they're not attending, so our panel should be as unbiased as possible in our marking. if Guns has time perhaps he can add this to either the DC blurb on the website, or the email generated when a player pays or insert into the players pack (ammendum at the end or such)?
Good job on the final pack btw, Dru |

As someone else noted, the pack doesn't specify Open Lists.
It's always been that way and I assume it continues like most events in OZ but for new(er) players, prob good to clarify that as well. Dru |

There have been questions about the process if lists are found to be incorrect, and what the penalties will be for late lists.
Incorrect lists, if the error is quite minor (like say the list is 2252 points) will have the cheapest available model removed to make it legal, and the amended list will be comp judged and forwarded on to the player. If a player wants to make an alternative small change to the list later on that won't change the list to an extent a re-mark is required, that should be fine. An incorrect list with a more serious error will call for a re-submission, and incur the equivalent of a two day late penalty. Late penalties will be 5 points for every two days late off the players comp score, until it reaches zero. I'd prefer not to use this option at all, and I realise that the holiday period can be quite turbulent, so there will be some lenience involved provided the reason is good enough. Please consider getting your list in early to prevent such things occurring. Lists that are rejected as being unwanted at the tourney will incur no penalty for the first such list, however it will have to be resubmitted within a week of being rejected and sent back to the player. -------------------- BRISMACHINE WEEKEND

Chunky - I have a question.
The rules pack says Army Presentation is outta 20. But then the 2 judges give marks outta 6 each towards the Army Presentation score = 2x6 = 12. Is that score outta 12 then converted to 20, or am I missing something or is there an error. |

Thank you for taking the time to provide a response Chunks. It is much appreciated. Makes the process loud and clear for all going to DC09.

Is that score outta 12 then converted to 20, or am I missing something or is there an error. Its actually both. The armies are given two marks out of 10 (basically 5 x 2) for the Army Presentation score, but only a maximum of 6 from each score counts towards the Overall score. -------------------- BRISMACHINE WEEKEND
