Furry Dog K'Bab scowled as sat on his Krapper flicking through the current edition of "Blood 'n' Balls", the WSWABBL monthly rag, while he waited for movement.
He'd been told that if he could read there was some worthy content.
What did he care.
Looking at the pictures was gratifying.
That new Bad Moon Star player Krush-tail looked edible in yellow body paint.

He flicked to the calendar to see who they were playing this week.
What does 'Purple People Eaters - bye' mean he wondered?

"KA-THUNK"!

Something hard hit the bottom of his krapper.
It was a penny.
Boss hadn't paid for their kit yet.

Sullenly Dog reached behind him and picked up his empty kit bag throwing it in the Krapper.
Lifting the Krapper over his shoulder he pushed his way out of the Pros-krast'nashun Pub and went looking for the Boss.
He pulled something out of his krak as he stomped towards the Pain' Binch and wondered what excuse the Boss would have this time.

Noble born Loreal Parie will not lower himself to such baseless promotion.
Our teams althetic Elven skills will speak for themselves on the pitch of battle.

Guys. Enjoyed learning a bit about blood bowl today. Thanks BBDave for the dark elves. I'll get them painted for the 28th hopefully. Maybe someone can bag some easy points killing me whilst teaching me the rules wink.gif

Hello Bloodbowl fans and welcome to another WSWABBL Update....

In a clamp down on illicit cheese sniffing at the Vermindome in St Albans Park during the week, Coach Diesel of the St Albans Park Scabbers sought the advice of the Brewers from Clan Pestilens to clean up the team. A potent brew aptly named "Rat Sack" was passed around at the club this week, to straighten up any player found to be with "addiction" of warpstone laced cheese. The Brew clearly had its effects as the team measured up in its first game against the High Elven team Loreal on the weekend.

20,000 fans rocked up to the Loreal Home ground to see the rookie skaven team in Bright Sunny Weather. Disappointment, however was the only reaction Scabber fans recieved with skills which could only be described as "very ordinary.

The weather took a quick change into weather which was deemed as Perfect. Scabbers players clearly showing the signs of Delerium Tremors...allowed the High Elves to gain the early initiative and received the kick-off. Taking an early lead of 2-0 the High Elves seemed like in total control from the first kick-off. Early Injuries to one of the Scrimage Line Rats "Creeps Itchyballs" (broken neck) and one of the star gutter runners "Itchy Harvestmouse (Groin Strain)...the Scabbers struggled to take any initiative in the game. With skaven littering the KO bin and only having 6 players to start the second half it looked grim...but a late half score from the Gutter runner "Squeaks McGinty" showed some potential, taking the Scabbers into the second half 2-1 down and recieving the kick off.

Outnumbered and outmatched things looked grim for the Rats form St Albans Park. Smelling salts were handed round for the KO'd Rats, but to no avail and the Scabbers started to second half with half a team.

Second half started badly for the Scabbers with Loreal getting the jump on them before the kick-off, allowing a blitz on one of the Gutter-runners before the play had been called..and a number of gainless plays ended with ball being left open, and Loreal capitalised taking control and the score to 3-1.

The Scabbers Assistant Coach and Cheerleaders tended to the wounded during play, the Rats in the KO bin, came around after the Elves 3rd TD giving the Scabbers some much need field presence. They were able to set up some nice plays and showed potential but were unable to capitalise, with multiple fumbles and an inability to stay on their feet. A further turn over, found the Scabber again chasing after the Elves but the Star Blitzer for Loreal ran over their 4th TD.

The Scabbers also during the game lost one of the rookie gutter runners Rancid Doormouse, a block which ended up sending the rookie into a crowd of Feline supporters, ended in tragedy for the Scabbers, but was an unexpected bonus for the Feline supporter when the rat landed in her mouth.

Final Score Loreal 4 V St Albans Park Scabbers 1.

Casulaties: Scabbers
Creeps Itchyballs (lineman) Broken Neck (-1 AG) Miss Next Game
Itchy Harvestmouse (Gutter Runner) Groin Strain, Miss Next Game
Rancid Doormouse ( Gutter Runner) RIP

Casulaties: Loreal
Nil

Stay tuned in BB Fans more reports when it comes to hand.

Cheers Chris.

Good luck with getting the DE done... smile.gif

Yeah wasn't a good outing for the Skaven, my dice rolling was abysmal, and really 2 of those TDS roy scored was because I failed to roll a 2-3 biggrin.gif

Anyways...next time Gadget!

The Loreal Lightnings once again took to the field and managed to keep their hands clean.
As Dave said, i dont play elves the traditional way biggrin.gif
You did have some atrocious rolling though, which helped me a lot !
Looking forward to the next club meet and some more BB action.

Damn straight Roy...More BB ahoy!

Yeah, was a crappy game on my behalf..I created opportunity, but couldn't follow it up with the necessary 2+ or 3+ I needed. The early numbers game also helped you immensely...having only 9 players to your full team, enabled you to double team my rats alot early. In saying that all I need is afew rats available to be able to score quickly. Move 7 basic Linerats is cool, AV 7 is not so cool.

I learnt some lessons, and took some from the game now need a game against a non bashy team to recover and I should be set.

Will get onto Brad (skritter) and try and get a game in, before next meet.
