Hey all
Just dropping by to say Ardog and myself are planning on dropping in for a visit. Planning on bringing some Blood Bowl teams and gear. We come from Seymour, so wont be a regular thing, but wouldnt mind watching a game of Blood Bowl by some vets if anyone is keen, just to help us pick up any rules we may have wrong! I'm also looking for a few little bits for my Space Marines (lightning claws, knobbly shoulder pad, beakie helmets etc) so i'll bring along my small bits box incase anyone is up for a trade. See you Sunday! -------------------- My Diaries: Bran Redmaw's Space Wolves Great Company,Deamon Hunters (on hold) Finished: Lizardmen Blood Bowl Team Other Projects: High Elves, Wood Elves, Raven Guard, Flesh Tearers |

Hiya Barn, looking forward to seeing you both there on Sunday. I'll bring my Dwarf team along just in case everyone else forgets :S Fantasy and 40k are the big ones and you will have no hassles finding a game. Either ask around on the day for an opponent or see a committee member who will set you up.
Does Toyworld up in Seymour still stock GW goods? last time I was up there it looked like they were trying to clear everything? |

Yeah both Toyworld Seymour and now Toyworld in Shepparton have stopped stocking GW stuff.
Buying online or GW in Northlands or Highpoint are the closest for us. Thanks for bringing the Dwarves Ardog ond i both have 40k and Fantasy armies, but we are a bit rusty, having just got back into gaming after a few years off lol -------------------- My Diaries: Bran Redmaw's Space Wolves Great Company,Deamon Hunters (on hold) Finished: Lizardmen Blood Bowl Team Other Projects: High Elves, Wood Elves, Raven Guard, Flesh Tearers |

No probs about being rusty. We have plenty of noobs to play so you wont feel like your lacking. Just ask to play against Simon or Rob. Maybe even Luke. Those three are pretty inexperienced and will give a good chance of victory.
But seriously, we often run new players through games so a refresher would be fine too. Are you familiar with the current versions at all? 40k 5th edition and Fantasy 7th ed. Bloodbowl live 5.5. Not sure of anyother system coz I dont really play anything else. We also have a good Warmachine following which is a lot of fun. Oh, Necromunda is picking up again too. Got family B'day for my niece and myself, so will be drinking to much beer to play wardollies. i hope you enjoy your visit to GROTS. and just a note: we may be looking at setting up a second club based out at Craigieburn ( nothing set in stone) but wouldn't be as far for you to travel. cheers rob.c -------------------- 2009 tourney

Just wanted to give a quick thanks to those who showed us around on Sunday.
Unfortunately our 18 month old wore out my pregnant wife by 3.30, so i had to bail early We will be back sometime soon, and will bring more than our BB teams (and maybe leave the wife and kid at home -------------------- My Diaries: Bran Redmaw's Space Wolves Great Company,Deamon Hunters (on hold) Finished: Lizardmen Blood Bowl Team Other Projects: High Elves, Wood Elves, Raven Guard, Flesh Tearers |
