I've just started playing AT 43 regularly, and I must say I really like the game. I play Therians as the norm.
A question with the use of overseer routines in the Cypher faction. The special rule for cyphers is that all overseers have access to both infantry and afv routines. Does this mean that an Alpha level overseer in an assault golem unit, for example, have the ability to create a Hekat strider? Obviously this overseer can only affect their unit so most of the afv routines are useless. There could be quiet a lot of hekats floating around the table by the end of turn 1. yeah there was a lot of questions and different answers from R on the at-43 forum (en-forum.at-43.com) which I suggest you check out the sticky topics and rules questions. But basically i think the 'final' but unofficial (not in any errata that I have) is that only the company commander can use routines on any unit, and others are stuck to those of their own type (ie strider for strider, trooper for trooper) and unit, but don't hold me to it.
