I was checking out eBay to see if any copies of Space Hulk had popped up yet. I found eBay Listing]this one interesting.

I though this was a bit off, considering the game came out less than a week ago:
SPACE HULK 3rd Edition (Very Rare)
Just because it's mimited, doesn't mean it's rare. Not yet, anyway. But I guess I can forgive that.

This bit made me particularly angry:
This is a brand new copy of the limited edition exclusively re-released Space Hulk. It is of very limited edition and worth collecting. The quality of the miniatures is fantastic, I pre ordered one for myself, and grabbed a couple of extras for anyone who may have missed the one day only release of this game.
The guy claims that the game was only on sale for 1 day, and that he is doing people a favour by buying extras, then selling them off at $35 more than the original price. Half the reason the game is so *rare* is because jerks like him buy them up to sell at inflated prices. To try and pass it off as 'doing people a favour' just makes me want to kick him in the nuts.
I hope GW decide the game is too popular to discontinue, and this guy is left with a dozen copies of the game that no-one will buy because they can get it for less at their FLGS.
Jerk.

P.S. If anyone can explain why none of my formatting is working for me, I'd be thankful.

Something to do with the address is all I can say. Ebay is like that sometimes.

This is not as bad as an original SH (1.0) set selling ealier this week for 240 pounds. The box was sellotaped together, and it was out of shrinkwrap. It even had the original poxy terminators. It still sold. The thing is the market will pay what it will pay - it is more obvious in a niche hobby.

Still a rip.
What are the ebay rules?
1: Caveat Emptor.
2: A fool and his money are soon parted.
3: There's one born every minute.

I still see space hulk boxes around so this guy is mostly wasting his time and money. He is better off trying to sell off individual pieces which seems to be working the last time I checked ebay.

The best thing we could do is report this asshat for some blatant false advertising.

Meh...I don't really care that much if dudes do this sort of thing...if someone really wants one its not hard to make your own for fairly cheap....all the stuff you need is easily found on the internet....you don't need to buy a full BNIB set...

If that makes you angry don't do a search for 'epic'. There are a number of traders buying up Knights, Imperators, Plague Towers ect then asking insane money for them.
