Club this weekend Oct24th Options

Hi my name is Dan,

You might of seen me wandering about your 40k comp last Saturday (tall guy with no real clue as to what was going on). Anyway I was planning on coming to your normal club day this weekend with a mate, neither of us really know any systems but have a big interest in strategy gaming (axis & allies, battletech). I was wondering tho if anyone would be able to teach me 40K this weekend, I don't have an army or anything but would like to learn the game before I make the financial/time investment in it? If not that's cool, we will come anyway and say hi, maybe join in on something.

No worries. Any particular army you're interested in? Does your mate need to borrow one also? Will probably be able to set up some tutorial games for you.

As an aside to that, what points values will people be using? 850 and 1500?

Hey, I don't know much about the armies in Warhammer:40K but I'm partial to the human ones (Imperial Guard, Sisters of battle, Space Marines) same as my mate. although I'm not sure if he is interested in Warhammer I think he wanted to check out Command and Colours.

Liam, probably 850 with a few 1200's possibly (for upcoming ][con and Heresy events)
