I think so.....you'd have limited choice though, as you'd probably have to go with the DH 'dex as your parent list, use inducted guard, and take a few WH allies.
I think you'd be able to use the IG dex with allied WH/DH units, but not sure on it. Regardless, it'd still be limiting, as you only have a limited selection of the WH/DH units to choose from. Yes, I reply to a lot of threads with images. That's because your posts are crap, and don't deserve anything more than a cursory Google image search. Your e-peen just made me lolgasm. By the authority of the immortal emporer of mankind, using the DH or WH as a parent dex, you can have as many guardsman as you like, inc heavy weapons and chimera's (well, in say 1750 pts anyways) and a single leman russ (if you take 2x Guard inf. platoons, minimum 130 pts per platoon), and also have the following DH/WH (whichever codex you DIDENT use as the parent) included
1HQ 2 Troops 1 Elite 1 Fast Shoe on other foot, if you take guard as the parent list, you may take the following FOC slots from the DH/WH codex 1x HQ 2x Troops 1x Elite 1x Fast Its generally much more forgiving to take the DH/WH codex as a parent list if you want to take a majority of these inquisition units (DH/WH) however, if you are only interested in a squad or two here and there (1x Sisters squad, 1x GK squad, GK lord, whatever) then take guard as the parent list, so that you get access to Veterans squads as troops (to fill out the mandatory 2x Troops for the parent list) and also access to all the amazing Fast and Heavy choices in the guard codex. Dont forget, sisters inducted into a guard army as of their errata DO get faith points, and CAN use faith points. Have used Cannoness + Celestian Bodyguard in rhino + 2x Sisters units in Rhino's as a VERY effective (altho expensive) counter assault/close support section for my guardsman (5 Faith, nothing to sneeze at considering if done right you also have some pieplates from LR to throw around) -------------------- This has not been updated for some time.... |

If guard is your base list you can have:
0-1 HQ 0-1 Elite 0-2 Troops 0-1 Fast attack from each 'hunters' book. You still have to take your compulsory HQ and Troops from the base codex, so you need a guard HQ and 2 guard troops, so you wouldn't be able to take 1 HQ from each book. The same is true if you use a hunters book as your base codex. So that means the only way to take 1 HQ from each book is by making on of the hunters books your base codex. If you do this then you have to use the really restrictive inducted guard rules rather then the allies rules. The only way to get 1 special character from each book is by using one of them as your base codex. It's worth noting that both books still have old style points limited characters. -------------------- "shirty, the slightly aggressive bear"
