Well I got my order on Wednesday.

Thursday was which box set to start with. I choose Lady Justice, but then assembled Rasputina.

Then I started to read the rule book. How dare they break up the short stories with rules. Gads I'm finding it difficult on reading the rules, as I'm more interested in the short stories as they unfold.

So I paint a little. Read a little. Look at the boxes waiting to be painted. Paint some more. Push my other projects into the "you'll forget they're in there box". Stack all the Malifaux boxes on the painting desk and debate on which to do next.

I then have another Ancient One contact me through this modern telephony thingy and hey presto I converted another to the cause. Strange how only the truely ancient are warped enough to appreciate the genious of what Malifaux represents.

Now I have to go to the trouble of find suitable sacrifices to make contact with that resurrecting pidgeon to order more product.

So Rasputina set is now painted and awaiting varnish. Lady Justice will be done by tomorrow. I really want to get stuck into the Resurrectionist but I'll have to wait for my bases to arrive.

Madness is eternal!

John

Sigh, I'm still painting....

I've gone and done two of the Guild Crews today (Justice & Criid) with the Ortagas on their way.

Having fun with basing. I'll have to go and purchase some more cork bark. Still having mixed results with ice. Just can't get it to do what I want it to. Looks good up until it drys, then it's blargh!

I'm in the process of "cleaning" my game level of the house. Sadly all I seem to do is move things from one end of the house to the other, not making any noticable impact on getting decent playing area.

I'm like Nero Wolf, not quite as "fat", but chained to my residence. My keepers only let me out if I've been "good"....

In the fine tradition of the WAU Malifaux board, I hijack this thread to demand if there are any games on this week.

I demand satisfaction!

Seamus and the Belles are getting restless and with Black Betty and the Grave Spirit arriving they will need blooding.

I have a small little man. I keep him in my cupboard, we go on adventures together solving mysteries and fighting crime.

Are you free Mr Humphries? I'm free Captain Pea####!

My kids and wife have my chain until Thursday. After that I'm free. I've got finished Rasputina, Criid, Justice and Ortega. Who knows what might be finished by Thursday! Drop me a PM to organise details.

John
