I dunno dude. This sounds like an adverse judgement of someone's hobby work there. Most people would feel injured by that kind of comment. Regardless of whether you can justify the semantics of the sentence, usually people who are writing in good faith will tread about the issue with a modicum of sensitivity. They'd include a tonguey-sticky-outey smillie or something. There was more to the army than the beer bottle anyway, and the beer bottle was executed fairly well. It had fine detail like little veins in the bloodshot eyes if you cared to look closely enough.

And he had a stand-in model anyway, that was all proper WYSIWYG and good 'normal' painting and all. Just in case he played someone who didn't believe in fun and wanted a proper model on the table.

Wyrm, i can think of at least 3 occasions in this thread alone where i've stated stuff and they've gone in completely the opposite direction to what i've actually stated. What you need, is actually a bang your head against a brick wall smiley....or maybe shoot Phil or Scott your password so they can edit your initial post so that their replies would now actually be relevant.

The point I was making is that if someone's put their hard time into an army then you don't put it down, regardless of what your opinion of it is.

Let's say for example I think that Rylands daemons look like #### and I don't think they are up to scratch. Or to take an even more close look lets say I think Ryland's soulgrinder looks like #### and I don't think it's up to scratch. As a person who has some semblance of social skills I keep this to myself, because I know that he put time and effort into it and it's not up to me to decide what he thinks is a good idea or not so far as modeling goes, and which jokes are funny and which aren't.

You wouldn't do that to someone's converted and sculpted anything else, I don't see why my stuff should be fair game.

I've said it was a joke army. That doesn't make the army a joke Ryland, there's a big difference. And if you wankers are going to carry on at least have the decency to have had a look at the model and the army before you do it. It's clear no one that has been carrying on about it has, especially the ones that claim it has plasticine arms.
