I also liked the winter mission.

I didnt, but maybe thats because I was busy getting my ass kicked by Dave at the time tongue.gif

Likes:
Respect for Mark, very good to see.
The timelyness
everyone havin a good time and being generally pretty aware of everything.
Panel comp, pretty decent, see below for complaints
Everything was pretty damn awesome, and Im glad people enjoyed getting hit by choccies. tongue.gif
Also the pack up, good to see it get done so quickly, sorry the same cant be said for the set up, Ill try better next year.

Gripes:
Theme, no biggy for myself, but I know alot of people that were struggling, especially when the list has to go in so early, means that if you write your colour scheme into it or something similar you cant really change it. Sorta.

Comp, sorta seemed to change, granted its difficult, but yeh, as I said befoe the tourney, the lists that needed to be hit and hit hard didnt seem to be hit as hard as some think it should have been. Only a list here and there though so definately props.

Painting, again it changed from person to person, each person had different expectations, no wuckas about my score but some of the armies I feel shouldve done either better or worse than my own, when they didnt.

Space, last year we used the stage, was that off limits this year? certainly space that coulda been utilised, but yeh, pushing to duck and weave through the tables was to say the least, annoying. At least up stairs was, downs stairs was awesome.

Lastly the missions, releasing them early was both good and bad, some of them namely the with the power generators, felt alot like a one turn game where all that mattered was the last turn, just doesnt feel right, tis all.

Otherwise awesomely done

I feel the power gen really needed a 3rd objective.

As what happened to me, that game I was against Eldar. I held both Objectives the entire game. Last turn with what few models he had left, turbo boosted a 3 man jetbike squad to contest one, and used his wave serpent (with rangers) to tank shock me off the other and therefore claim victory.

So yeah I felt a little cheated considering the first 2 turns he also started in reserve. sad.gif

Liked:

Panel painting judging for prizes instead of just player choice. I might be biased because I won, but I loved the idea that our hard work was being judged on its actual skill by judges rather than how showy/converted/strange it was by players choice. Good to have both players choice and judges choice.

Panel Comp. Peer comp sucks bigtime.

Missions. The missions were great. Only in one game did I feel like the mission put me at a disadvantage, but that's because I built an army unable to deal with Dawn of War. Otherwise they were really great.

Places countdown at the end!

Cafe!

Great prize support, especially by Realm of Legends.

Didn't like:

Split upstairs/downstairs. Very few toilets for lots of nerds.

Umm, that's about it.

Well done guys.

Didnt Trpvzyskirama design them?

I know Stewarts Trophies, King of the Lasercutters, produced them.

Likes:
- Candle lit dinners.
- Romantic walks on the beach.
- Watching sunsets.

Dislikes:
- That I couldn't/didn't attend MIF this year.
- The lack of twitter coverage/live updates (because a TO doesn't have enough to do.. right?)
- The cut of Chaplain_Fortis' jib.
- That Sam Loy rhymes with "I like boy(s)".
- Adam Trpcevski's surname. Even scarier is that I can actually spell it without thinking. Creepy much?

Hopefully I'll be able to make it next year wink.gif
