I really liked the event. The organisation was great, all seemed to run smoothly. Liked the hall too - plenty of space, which was great, and I didn't find it too warm or anything personally.

The missions were in general good, with some nice variety. The scoring seemed a little complex at first when I looked at it, but it turned out to be pretty straightforward to use.

The only think I didn't like in the missions, and it's a small thing, is that there was an overlap between the secondary mission & the bonus points in one of them - I think units in the deployment zone counted for both in one? It sort of skewed the value of the secondary mission too much in comparison to the primary IMO.

I think the details of the bonus points on offer needed a bit more of a rethink, but I like the idea - would have been nice to see them in the missions pack too.

But as I said, that's a pretty small thing. Overall I had a great weekend of gaming. Thanks to the TO again.

i meant giving the loosing player more chance on getting some points not letting the winning bet them outright like 25(or more)-5 getting between 0-5pts, that's getting the loosing player felling down and not much confidence to win the next game/match

Thats the whole point of losing.

I found most losses still made up around 7-20 VP's off the secondary obectives anyway.

That also happened in the character kill mission. However, it was only worth 1-2 pts, and both players can achieve the character kill, as well as having a unit in the enemy deployment zone

Which led to such a tight contest going into the final round.

I cant complain too much since its a system I have used multiple times(and intend to again)!

I'd like to thank everyone for their feedback.

Being my first time as TO I decided not to try to redesign the wheel too much and borrowed a lot from TO's of other events I have been to, especially from Asmodean and Azure Fade. I would like to take the opportunity to thank you both for your help.

The feedback provided here will be used to help me in preparing for BIV next year. Thanks again for your comments and to all players for making the weekend fun and enjoyable for all.

Hope to see all of you at BIV 40k again next year.

Cheers
Gabtar

only thing that i could sujest to improve would to have a better idea of the comp scoring b4 the event, and maybe keeping it to a TO only score????

Apart from that it was a well run event, the missions were fun and different, and all my opponants were gret guys and played well.

cheers DANI
