Hey all. Just new to the forum.

Here is a 1500pt Empire list iv had 3 games with now, with 2 victories and a loss.

I'm really considering knights at the moment but I'm not fond of the current models.
Let me know what you think i should do to improve it and if u have any suggestions for alternatives or conversions for knight models please post them.

It seems you are taking full advantage of empire's effectiveness in low point games. You pretty much outnumber any opponnent who has way to much to deal with. Not to mention that most other armies are not as effective when you limit their special and rare choices not to mention a lord choice.
But don't be fooled, poor leadership/fear/terror can collapse your entire army.

Not a kit-out I've seen to often. Personally would give him:
Icon of magnus
Armor of meteoric iron
great weapon.

1stly can't have a shield on your bsb. I like that you've kept him cheap. Consider sword of might or banner of sigismund to make something stubborn. Ld7 rerolled isn't too bad.

Never taken or seen anyone take them. So can't give you a real comment on their effectiveness. Cheap unit though if thats what your going for.

Drop them to 9 and run them 3x3. Gives a bit more breathing space in your deployment and their only their for the US5 flank bonus in combat.

Brave using these. Fighting in two ranks is cool if your S4, however being S3. They will struggle to wound anything. (unless fighting elves/grots, For an extra 5 points (i think) run another block of swordsmen. Better armour save, WS, and Initiative.

These guys are gold. Consider running a champ and repeater pistol for extra shots at better BS.

Most std empire lists have 2 x greatcannons and a Hellblaster. Practice makes perfect with Guess range and cannons can remove gribblies turn 1. Not to mention deploying 1 on a flank to get some rank shots at knights. However the mortar does have some fans out there so consider running a mortar, great cannon and HBVG to mix it up, and give you a feel for preference/effectiveness.

And on a final note. I would add at least 1 x knight unit. Even if they only have a muso.
