Yeah, am truly sorry Chris. Late night drinking session with the brothers and the boys from Mackay, well they were drinking, and i end up with the hangover???????
On a more serious note, i am happy to say the weekend went off without a hitch and plans are already in motion for a bigger and better event next year. Stay tuned for more details, the one thing that will remain the same is the date, the queens birthday weekend seems to work well, particularly for all the out of towners who get the monday to drive home. We are happy and looking for any feedback that players may have, be it good or bad, feel free to let us know what you would like to see in the future series of the event. Thanks to Ben, Adam and the rest of the crew for a great weekend. It was good to meet new faces and put a face to alot of the members from this forum. The tourny ran smooth and was well worth the 6hr drive, the hangover on sunday was not so enjoyable.
Cheers -------------------- |

Well the dust has settled, the hangover from Saturday night finally subsided, mostly, and what can I say, what a great event.
Thanks to Ben, Adam and the lads for a well run event. Had a blast and will definately be making an appearance next year, hopefully to go a few better Congrats to Julian ( pretty sure you post on here not sure on your handle ) on the win, mate I'm sure if it wasn't for the win you would have probably taken out the best army as well, a fantastic looking Nids army. As for Saturday night, does anyone remember my head ending up under a bus at any stage? Or was that all the rum? -------------------- A Warpwolf Stalker whose base is within triangulation by a hair, can totally drive to yourfacetown. 4th Chris Slade (Tau) 139 pts An apology for the mix up during the presentation when Chris was incorrectly awarded 3rd place and was great allowing us to fix up the mistake. Send me a note when you get back to Brisbane and I will fix you up with some compensation mate Adam, there is no compensation required. I'm not about taking things that weren't rightly mine - if I didn't win third I don't deserve a prize. And really..given that I was playing Tau in a non-comp event I was happy to come away with fourth. Although I probably should receive a handicap and go to first for taking such a weak army All jokes aside, a good weekend and it was good to meet all you Bundy boys. -------------------- Check out our new Multi System Tournament Podcast : Titans of War

Was good to see Tau go so well considering the bad wraps they get. There were a few armies I would have loved to play during the event, one being yours, the other being Julian's Nids, two very great looking armies. I think people could still hit armies for comp through sports, I'm sure a there were a couple hit by it. -------------------- A Warpwolf Stalker whose base is within triangulation by a hair, can totally drive to yourfacetown. Would like to add my thanks to all the Nordbergs (Ben, Adam AND Helen) for once again running a smooth event. I know how much stress and hard work you guys go through making sure everything goes right.
Was great to see all the out of towners who made the effort to drive long hours just to play toy soldiers in Bundaberg and drink too much Bundy after hours! Hopefully, we will see some more FOW players up here next year? I am sure you would all agree that Darkfather and Ben have put together some absolutely gob smacking tables for this game system and there was more than one visitor asking us lots of questions about how to go about starting a FOW army... Apparently, Channel Sevens local news coverage of the event was really good, though sadly I forgot to watch (and they mispronounced my name -------------------- "Tau, the close combat army"
