WW40k - Tindal is the third WW40k chapter. Focusing mainly on casual gaming in this remote area, run by defence members, WW40k -Tindal hopes to unite local gamers and get some fun games played.

What:

WW40k Tindal offers a monthly Warhammer 40k event. Our relaxed and friendly atmosphere are perfect for having a game or two, and at the current time, we are capable of fielding numerous tables at one time. We encourage players of all levels to participate and the more experienced players are always more than happy to lend a hand when it comes to the rules of the game, painting & modeling advice. Numerous facilities are available, such as Toilets, Chairs, A fridge, A vending machine and plenty of parking.

When:

WW40k Tindal meets once a month, being every third sunday of the month. We kick things off at 10am and usually go until about 6pm. We are interested in organising gaming events more often if the need should arise.

Where:

Room 3/4 DCO Community Rooms, RAAF Base Tindal 0853

Cost:

We are not-for-profit and as such, our events are completely FREE. However a gold coin donation to go towards the upkeep of terrain is most welcome. We do ask that if you have any scenery that you bring it with you, as we are currently still in the process of building our own scenery.

Also, we ask that you bring any snacks or drinks with you as we do not have the available facilities to provide these. There is however a vending machine located outside the room and there is a tap for water inside the room itself.

There was a club, they held the adf championship there last year, ty got transfered to townsville. Guess no one wanted to take it over

someone has taken over the club but droped the WW40k logo, and its doing well, its new name is Blamey Wargamers

In the dark, dark days at Tindal the few local players would meet in various MQ's and play. All the while hiding from the roaming drunks and hungry singlies that prevaded the place.
If we were lucky we would attend the once a year gaming event held at the Darwin Uni.
Was hard to get new players when many were enticed over to the barra fishing and golf club fraternities!!!!
