I have recently sat down and repainted some of my Battletech mechs. I started playing batteltech about 20 years ago, and I am convinced that once it is in your blood, its there for life.

Anyway, this is my merc First Company 3025. Steiner Space with a combo of Davion mechs and the inclusion of an extra mech in the Command Lance (which is not uncommon for Davion Units). I am a big fan of 3025 when things were simpler and hits were not as guaranteed as 3050 when everything became pulse lasers

Command Lance
Cyclops, Atlas, Awesome, Stalker (Missle boat variant). Has an attached Rifleman mech for air support

Heavy Lance
2 x Warhammer-D variants, 2 x Crusader-D variants (Warhammers do not have the missle pods as these are meant to be the Davion variant, which doesn't have them).

Light Lance
2 x Fire Javelins, 2 x Hunchbacks

Recon/Air Lance
Stinger LAM, WASP LAM (Also included are the models for when they are in Mech mode)

Lostech
An Exterminator. Painted with various metalics to give the impression that it might have its original glazed armour

Solaris wannabes
Centurion (similar version to Yen-lo-wang) and a Quickdraw

Wait til you get to post-Blake Jihad when everything is Snub-nosed PPC's, MMLs and Improved Jump Jets

What about Heavy Gauss Rifles, HAGs. Streak LRMs, Specialist Autocannon rounds like armour piercing and tracking rounds that reduce the targets movement modifier, Thunder (LRMs and ILRMs - jumping mines), Improved jump jets, and much more.

I have been trying to get through a mass of painting for 2 of my mates, and with all the 52nd shadow division mechs and Battle Armour I have painted for one of them. He will probably be able to match my WOB mixed force soon. It is 2 level 2s short of being a level 4 in strength. In fact I have enough of the new Wobby B/A waiting to be put together, based and painted to make another level 3, with a few of the new Omni- variants as well.

My Clan Wolf and Capellan forces are probably the most striking in appearance though.

They are doing a few reports on Classic Battletech on BOLS under their RSS feed, trying to get some life back into the game.

Just let me know when you will in at the Hall of Heroes next, and there is not an organised 40K Apoc lead up game going on, and I will let you know if I can make it. I think I told you I have a complete setup, so I can print out the Mech data sheets, bring along heaps of maps, and have quite a few mechs, tanks and Infantry to play against.

If you are playing in the Apoc match on the 25/26th Feb and want to play Chaos or Daemons, I have an extra 6800 points of painted miniatures you can use to fight the 2 enemy forces. Imperial VS Xenos VS Chaos/Orks. Imperial troops should be out numbering everyone else I think.
