G'day all,

I just thought I'd share what I've been working on - modifying the Great War Rules to make WW2 Japanese Commonwealth & US Forces! armata_PDT_36.gif

and I just cracked and got a stack of minis!!!

Company B for the vehicles, Assault Group for character/specialists, West Wind for Bulk troops... Avoided Brigade Games this time thankfully.

My latest insane musings - the book now includes a test list for US Marines...

There may be some tweaking of HMG rules and points to come, but I'm pretty happy.

ooops - just realised I gave the USMC options for 6 medoim guns!! and I forgort to give them access to the 37mm AT gun... Oh well - work in progress and all that! smile.gif

Where are the Kiwis from 3 Div???

Use the Aussie list - I do say it can be used to replicate all C/W forces in the Pacific...

Or do I need to do a special Kiwi list and include the Bob Semple corrugated iron tank? wink.gif

OK - Latest version fixed to cater for all American and Commonwealth armies!

Hah.. I think I need to actually check the ruls out further but it's noce to see something based in the Pacific (or at least involving those that fought the Japanese).

The Kiwis pioneered alot of tactics that were later used in places lice Malaya and Vietnam etc... during their island clearing activities.. they were rather good at it even back then.

The great war rules are nice and easy - I say there's an NZ army with your name on it somewhere! smile.gif
