The Knights and the Angels won the day on the doubles games

Fark - they won in round one. Pretty impressive missile alpha strike, and Furiosos against gaunts is a big bug blender. We didn't really recover from that.

Also while the dice were fairly average for the table they were very one sided for each team, like dave failing all 5 cover saves for his wave serpents on turn 1 and having both of them wrecked while you guys could at best stun our vehicles which mostly got ignored by special rules.


That said I think that by chance the army selection resulted in us having a boulder to your scissors.

The result of this is that Andrew needs to get himself in gear and finish his imperial fists, at which point I will let him try and return the favor and have him try to beat up nids for a change, the table will be a sea of yellow.

Mono - I was doing a bit of reading on the Mind Strike missiles on the Grey knights storm raven, it said they were only a normal size Blast marker not a Large Blast marker?
Might be something worth double checking.

Probably wouldnt have made too much difference though, the gaunts were still fairly close together.
And the other storm raven dropping off the blender dred and death company and wiping out the other side of the army was not much we could do about.

It was definitely a 1 sided game.
