I'm planning to go to Dogcon travelling from Brisbane and was wondering if there was any interest in group bookings.

My current plan is

Late Virgin Blue flight Friday 27 Brisbane to Sydney
(leave 1900 arrive 2130)

Accom probably in one of the recommended venues on the website

Fly back late flight Sunday 29 Brisbane to Sydney
(leave 2000 arrive 2025)

If I get enough PMs/replies (min 10) then I will get a group quote for all or part of this plan (ie you can say yes to any of the three parts). please also include an alternate email address to make replies quicker.

It may mean you will have to front up with all (for flights) or some (for accomodation) of the money in early to mid December.

I may be interested. How much of a saving would we recieve?

I'd like to fly down for the friday night games if possible, so... if the saving is fairly substantial then id be interested.

I don't know, but it may vary depending on how many I can say are interested.

At the moment this isn't a commitment, just an expression of interest.

Because you buy flights each way, it could be possible to be interested for one way or accom or the flight back or a combo.

Skilto - working on the finances fella so my (your) woodies can strut their stuff at Dogcon. Count me as a starter.

Now to the conundrum of whether to watch the ways or not.......

Remember the teams event is on the friday - if cheaper flights are on thurs night - that could be an option for you all to consider as well

I'm tossing up whether to try and stay at someones place down there or at a motel. The motel adds $250 over 2 nights but I'd probably do it if there was a cheaper motel or in a group.

I was however thinking of flying down thursday night for the teams tourney...

I'm out for the teams tourney as won't be able to get off work....... Actually now you mention it Waaagh it would be kind of cool to stay with someone rather than just a motel.

Any offers for a few likely lads?

Must include the option of talking cr*p to the wee hours and drinking a few lagers. Said lagers will of course be provided by yours truly in part payment of the floor on which to crash.
