Hey guys,

FatDamien has gotten me fascinated with Battlefleet Gothic, however I'm poor as ######. So I have decided to scratchbuild stuff based on what I have seen on the internets. But I don't have much of a bits box, so I'm calling on you my friends. Would anyone be prepared to donate some bits that would be appropriate for knocking up some ships? Things like tank treads, weapons, pointy things, armour lookin things etc would be much appreciated. Let me know

Umm, not neccesarily, I'm gonna get some plasticard and put stuff together, I got a few ideas. I think Chaos might work actually, I've got a few ideas about using some chaos fantasy shields... (the ships probably won't look much like the real thing, but who cares).

On a vaguely helpful note, I should have some Chaos BFG bits kicking around somewhere.

Along with my 3000 points of actual BFG chaos. . .

I've gote lots of bits from plastic imperial cruisers, and also some space marine escorts I won't ever use, both of which I will give you for free if you (bindingly) agree to play me at some point.

Update: I have 4 Cobras, 3 Hunter-Destroyers (SM fleet), 3 Firestorms and 3 Swords you can have, they are all escort class but that should really do you as far as the little stuff.
You can either proxy them as chaos equivalents or just use the imperial roster and have a 'renegade' fleet, either way is cool.

Get 2-4 cruisers together and that's your fleet done.

Haha yeah. Cos I don't have a lot of stuff to use, I thought I'd fill things out with mutated heads and things. The follow up ship has arms! Pics to come...

For the next one I think chopping off the clip and handle of the bolter will create a suitably giant cannon without making it look like a giant bolter.

Yeah it's not clear from the photo, but i cut the handle off. Getting rid of the clip as well is a good point though
