Actually curious to hear about your thoughts on the strengths/weaknesses over the weekend. Noticed you included a scorpion - need WM hunters?
I've put the warriors in there as a unit that can stay around and protect the skull pults/casket its nice and cheap an extra deployment as I found that the horse archers were kinda pointless the one and only time was when they got Trebles hell cannon to chase after them due to a failed rampage test every other game they were quite useless and free points for a smart opponent, the warrior unit would stay behind the archers and be more of a fallback bunker for my mages that most people would initially ignore due to it being behind my archers and a fairly small sized unit and yet close enough to the warmachines so that i can threaten any potential wm hunters.
the knights I would love to have buried for sure now that they are smaller but I dont know what I would drop in exchange for the 25pts i would need, I mean I could drop the banner/std bearer off the chariots in order to do it as im above the core by a fair bit so its one option but I want to test out having those chariots really threatening a flank by moving 18" in a turn potentially dont get me wrong though i really want to have the knights come from below also.
The scorpian I really did miss from that one game we had rowan back at theos place it was just so versitile and would of made up for the lack of warmachine hunters for sure as the carrion were never as good in that role, I may even drop the carrion for a 2nd scorp but will see after a few more games gonna ask Roy if i can maybe use em for moab if he's willing lol or if your willing to loan yours Rowan either way....
I'll post up more thoughts ideas later tonight once I've had a better think about it
