Have to see how i go. Might have to get some custom stuff cast up for a truly cheesy list. Something to give those guard gun lines a run for their money.

Actually, my Crons were at the first one, and weren't entirely balanced...still, there weren't too many really bad lists at either Force Z, despite the lack of comp.

Note to self;
Do not post details for new events at night before getting some sleep.
Added a link for the single ticket sales. The four pack and season pass will be up later today.
If you are considering playing in four of more of these one day events next year think about one of the ticket packs. There is a great added bonus forf purchasing a pack that you will need to PM me about.

The more the merrier Nat.
We are planning to use a simliar format to last years events with a few minor changes.
Bring two lists along, each list may not be used more than 3 times (so the other is used twice). You choose your list after looking at what lists your opponent has brought.
Self based painting scores (audited by judges). Complete the checklist and send it in when you submit your army lists, judges will confirm the results on the day and add a subjective bonus to exceptional armies.

The concept that is being kicked around is two lists from the one codex led by different HQ choices (very Warmachine). You know the mission and your opponent, check out the two lists they might use and see which of yours you wish to play with. Circle it on your score sheet and both players reveal the list they have chosen to use.
I have been kicking it around as a way of balancing without comp, however bringing two lists at that 1750 could be a bit of a challenge. Most people should be able to do it easily at 750 and if you need some models feel free to ask, I have a few armies sitting on the shelf that havent been out for a game in years

If it works, great. If not, well it lets you play five games with two different forces to stop the day getting boring

Just a change in HQ? Most army list aren't terribly affected by a change in hq choice. You would have to encourage list diversity in the interest of fair play by some means other wise you will end up with lists with the minimalist changes possible. My preference would be for 2 lists from differing codecs.

Dec 8 2011, 11:22 PM
Sure you can do that, or you can bring two completely different lists to mess with your opponents head.
Im even thinking of bringing dark angels just so i can mess with people.

Dec 9 2011, 05:41 AM
IF it is possible two different army's all together.......and to make it even more random one list is heads and the other is tails and let the coin decide
infantryguy99
Dec 12 2011, 09:32 PM
i like the coin toss idea, talk about random, i like it. as for lists why not go with at least 2 different units, because at 750pts most armies will be completely different having to change two units, weather its from the same codex or not just makes it more fun

Get your
PLAYERS PACK today.
We have ditched the two list idea, while fun it would push some games to go for longer and with just over an hour available it would have been unfair to some. Maybe its a Battlefields kinda thing

There is still some time left to get your early bird ticket price or maybe convince your other (better) half that a "Season Pass" would make a great christmas present.

Was wondering when you guys where going to pop your names down.
Remember the bounty is now on Pat's head. The first player to beat him and his all powerful Necrons will pick up the reward. The reward for the first event is a copy of the Black Library novel "Sons of Dorn".
Anyone who has been the bounty is ineligible for the prize

Nope, you need to have won the bounty (and been the bounty) to be ineligible for the prize. So both Rob and Pat can't win. Also you need to win, draws do not count
