Looks awesome, no matter what the chapter is supposed to be.

If it's too light for your tastes, a couple of washes of magenta ink should tone it down a bit.

Having said that, I really like it as is.

badfang if its any consellation the idea that it was a blood angel never occurred to me, instantly assumed it was your own chapter, and an austere one at that, eg lack of squad markings, to my mind looks very witchhuntery.

Looks quite nice, you might want to try the Templars list since that is rather faith based. Lets you use brettonian knight like heraldry too.

I think the face needs a bit more focus though. Maybe make the eyes glow, at the moment the black face is a bit of a void on the mini. Maybe some white markings to match your other black and white areas.

im still not sure what my display base will be....thats why he is on the 2 25mm ones.............and yes the rims of those will be black...all my armies have blak rims..makes a showcase point rather then a gaming army...

Looks great mate. As mentioned the face looks a little plain but maybe go for some really bright eyes (yellow?) as this should help him stand out. As for the base, if they're zealous how about church ruins or something like that?

The assault cannon looks great - nice highlighting.

You probably won't want to try this, now you've finished one of the models... but I'd add a spot of black paint to the red basecoat, to keep the colour nice and dark.

yeah i was going to keep them dark but kept highlighting upwards...i think im gonna keep em nice and brigt as im goin to CANCON with them to steal drozzys painting award:P.
