Nice.

My only gripe would be the flame, but this is a personal thing. The brightest flame should be in the deep areas, closer to the source and the dark red to black parts at the tips. *shrug* Call me a critic

Also, the metal on the bolt pistol doesn't seem finished, or is that just the camera?

Seriously fellas...this mini is so sweet that after killing her in a recent game I tentatively refrained from 'handling' the model (I was assisting Tony to clear the debris after some DG rapid fire and flaming) in case it hadn't been sealed yet.
Unlike Nana-Boles Seraphim which I happily sent flying back across the table ...or Stu's 'Sisters of Incomplete Tragedy' who would be better served with retro-fitted umbrellas to save them from the dummy spit spittle ...or even my own SOB's that often receive the one-handed group hug of death.

The feedback has been encouraging, I'm on the right track!!

She hasn't been completely finished yet. I've got to do a little work on the base and the bolt pistol needs highlights. As Ghetti has picked out with his keen eye for detail. I'm thinking along the lines of maybe a Yellow/Black Danger pattern on the Bolt Pistol.

As for the Lighting and Picture Quality......I'm a crap photographer But I'll attempt to get some better shots asap!!

H-Con?? Might be there painting but, I'm not playing...But will be there on the Saturday to lend a hand and help Brent out with the serious stuff.

(You need to take better photos for the sake of us glasses-wearing folk, my good man - I could have sworn they were blue highlights across a black mini! )

Ok Blue....start with Midnight Blue Base on Black undercoat....move onto 50/50 Regal Blue/Midnight Blue, then to th 50/50 Mix of Midnight and Regal add some more Regal, making it about 50% lighter than the last mix. Then brighter highlights are Regal/Enchanted, then final highlight is the 50/50 mix of Regal/Enchanted with Ice blue.

Make sense don't ask me to explain the application and where, but this is the palette I used for the blue

That's cool, I think I can work it out from your description.

The reason I asked is that I've just acquired a Sisters army, and I'd like to try a blue highlight on the black to avoid the dusty look that greys can sometimes give.
