Well, something I get a lot when people see my Valkyrie is the question "So how hard is it to put together?" or from those tempted to get one "how much effort is involved in making it look good?"
I know how daunting it can be, after all, I've already put one together, and god knows Forgeworld's assembly guide sucks... a single sheet of paper for a kit comprising nearly 60 pieces? If it was a kit from any other model manufacturer, you could guarantee there'd be more........
Well, I just got my second kit in the mail, so, as I have promised to some, soon this thread will morph into the "How to put a Valkyrie together" pictorial how-to guide.
Stay tuned!

I found it tricky because the instructions were very vague and the picture quality blurry. A poor effort from FW IMHO.

Eh, it's not just that, Dan.....working with resin is a b!tch at the best of times, let alone when the entire kit is made of it! I mean, what do you do when the two halves of the fuselage don't match up quite right? Which chunks of resin are tags, which are locating pegs?

With the cost and difficulty of working with resin, I'd almost be inclined to scratch-build instead.

I had some thoughts of doing this using large scale helicopter and plane models but when I had a look at the cost and had the look at the level of detail in the FW kit I gave up.
Resin is not that hard to work with it just takes some patience and accepting that the FW moulds aren't always prefect and that you will need to GS to compensate for this.
