Hi Brad. I live in Brisbane so I can only tell you whats going on here.

As far as suppliers go, theres no-one who supplies miniatures anymore, your best bets are Iron Wind & Ral Partha on the internet anyway - go Iron Wind if you plan a big order or Ral Partha if you only doing a few. There are a few shops that stock rule books, TRO's & the new Introductory Boxed set. ACE Comics in the city & Annerley to name but 2.

We have a pretty decent gathering of players up here too & pretty much every Thursday night there is a game at one of the guys house. Theres a few of us that also play campaigns and RPG versions on occasions. Also theres a club that run a whole days Battletech at the aforementioned ACE Comics 1st Saturday every 2nd month - Anarchy League.

But pretty much every year since Ive been here, we've had a Battletech tournament and we have had people come up from Sydney, Rockhampton & Canberra for them. Anywhere from 10 people to just over 20 so far. We will also be having one on the first weekend of May (5,6,7) so if you're available...come on up and join in! Watch this subforum for more details very soon....

Ironwind tend to have all the latest designs available but may not have some older models (you can still order them but you get slapped with a $20 archive fee because they'll have to spin up the mold), and Ral Partha can be just the opposite.

...and a few months down the track from the start of this post....you can pick up a few of the basic Mech box sets from Milsims.
