I think that is pretty good for your first attempt, good job. What army is he for, and did you use a sculpting tool?

Great, now all I can think about is RA 2.

i used the gw sculpting tool, a modelling scalple and some modelling tools from a hobby shop in newcastle called frontline hobbies. he isnt for any army in particular, i just wanted a model that looked like this, but i guess i could use him as a marauder cheiftan. i kind of went for an ex-empire turned chaos look.

will get more piks as i paint him.

I thing that to me looked funny was his ankle. Id prob want to build it up a tad just so his leg dosent look like its had a cast on for 6months.

But your armour plates look fantastic.
