Looking good. Should look sweet when its finished. I love the effects on the sword especially. But is it just the picture or is the sword kinda short and fat? I thought it was longer and thinner than that? Still looking excellent though.

its just the pik, its kinda on an angle, so it looks shorter than it actually is.

I thought Archaon didnt die, I thought he just retreated to the Bronze Keep or something like that?

Yeah theres just foreshortening on the sword.
I particularly like the gold on the shield and the big spike coming out...that looks cool

for the gold i started with tin bitz, mix it up to dwarf bronze, mix it up to shining gold, highlight it with mithril silver. as for the spike on the sheild i cant remember how i done that.
