Hi every body.
I'm currently doing one of my first major sculpting projects, a Chaos sorcerer for my fantasy army. The base is from a Thousand sons Sorcerer, the hands various bits of orcs, chao maruaders and other things.

I think I have most of the musculature right (except for the abdomen-luckily most of it is hidden) I still have some robes to finish off around the back below his belt and will possibly add some more sorcerous stuff to make him look suitably evil

i haven't yet done anything on the staff as I'm stil trying tofigure out the theme for my army....Curse me wanting to convert this badly..*rushing*..."ahh, out devil I say!" ;D :banghead:

So what do you think?
Also any tips would be most wellcome

It is a sculptorama on WAU!!

Looks cool mate, very dramatic pose, however the GS on the arms still looks a little rough, although that could be the pictures.

yeah I know, I am going to add shoulder pads (large 'chaosy' ones) on his arms. I'd actually thought I said that but oh well :-?
I will aso be adding bracers (sp) to his fore arms.

And again forgot to add this, but I have been basing it off a pic in the Warhammer chaos book. (sorry I can't remember the page and don't have the book on me, It should be pretty similar- the pics on the left side near the tzeentch section I think.)

and partially it's a personal thing-sorcerers don't wear (much) armour if any, so I will attribute the save to the bits he's got and saying it's enchanted(or corrupted )

looking good, though i think the torso is a little tall, could just e camera angle though. other than that, looks great.

I cant believe you chopped the head off the old skeleton banner, thats one of the best bitz GW ever sold.
Looks okay, your chest is waaay too muscly, hes gaunt, not buff right?

I'm assuming the head off the old banner is the head in his hand?
I got that from a bitz sale.
