I am considering painting some of my figures in a glacier theme. I am figuring a cold blue and white style but was wondering if people had any helpful hints or ideas. I'd really like to try a green ice style but am not sure how to approach it.

I'll be trying it on some space generic fantasy models first up.

white or off-white, light blue and light gray normally makes a good snow or ice theme.

Maybe replace the gray with turquoise or something for a green scheme.

I would consider doing giant ice crystals by making a mold from a polystrene master then casting them in glass resin

I'm doing a darkelf army at the moment with a iceelf theme. I'm using white over light blue for my main colours.

dust a little bit of snow here and there.

Yeah, snow's the easy option. That tutorial on the winter camo is ecellent. I'll definately be reffering to it when I start on my Valhallans.
