Hmmm... Not too bad! Sun Tze looks excellent, as do the Druze.

A bit disappointed about the Merovingians though! Would have been nice to get one or two new sculpts, but it's just the skinny legged moblot right? It might not be new either...

That's been the case will all the starters though.

The Druze look nice but Sun Tze is all kinds of win smile.gif

Who can use the Druze? I saw Qhapu Kalqi have access. Anyone else?

Really underwhelmed by the merovingian starter - was expecting it to catapult me into starting a 4th (5th?) faction, but really isn't happening. Not sure what i was expecting, but that isn't it.

Hopefully they get around to make a MERC company.

It's pretty standard for a startup pack, except you get a HMG! Your problem is that you have been in the game too long.

The Loup Garou box is for people who want new models I reckon.
Good excuse to pick up more Metros even if they are duplicates.

ONLY the Qhapu Khalqi in tourneys.
Outside of this, as mercs, anyone can use them for "friendlies" like any other merc.
AVA restrictions are steeper, from memory (I think it's half AVA).

I am liking the new releases this month even if there are no new Aleph models smile.gif

I very much like the Rapid response force as i have always liked the models and now it's a good excuse to pick the box set in future.

Im really digging the Shasvastii. Between that and the Spitfire Noctifier, im half tempted to start the Combine armata_PDT_02.gif

Yeah, probably true! I think it's cause of the lack of chasseurs, who are my favourite looking troops in the merovingian list. And i was hoping that the elusive chasseur from the ariadna starter would be in there - here's hoping he'll now be released as a single.

I'm liking the Druze and the Gwailos. I actually quite like the new Moblot too, skinny legs and all. smile.gif

So I wonder if this means next month will be another TAG (fingers crossed for the Raicho)...

Sun Tze v2.0 looks great, and he seems well armored for someone with ARM 2. Pity his stats aren't as good, and I wonder if he has an alternate multi-rifle arm?

I agree, Multi rifle is better because it is cheaper. X-visor II is overkill on a sniper. I'm thinking that Hsien arms with Multi rifle and sword might fit. They have the same shoulder pads.

I think the reason the Merovingian starter clangs is that we already have all these models (except the Moblot?).

I find it hilarious us die hard Merovingian players don't know if the Moblot is new off the top of our heads and can't be arsed looking it up.

So much HI in my other factions I don't want to know about Moblots at all.

Sun Tze 2.0's shoulders and back are very similar to that of the Shàng Jí I believe, although the shoulders are similar to other YJ HI (including the Hsien) as well.

Also, apparently the 'new' moblot is actually an arm swap with the existing panzerfaust moblot, not that moblots are going to see much use with all the other better stuff the French list has.
