Greetings all,

Looking to make my own decals - does anyone know a decal film stockist in the North Brisbane area?

Save me a hunt around....

I'll actually ask a question here too: what sort of film do I need for DIY decals, and what sort of printer do I need to make them?

The name of the brand I've used escapes me but I'll endevour to find it for you guys. However just go to your local railway hobby store and they should be able to find it.

Printing on an inkjet printer is fine, Laser printers are obviously best. If printing on inkjet, allow some time to dry and I usually seal mine with a dullcote aswell.

A word of warning on self-made decals is that they can be generally quite thick, even if a softening solution is used (microsol/microset) So be mindful of this.
