I want to run a chaos style army at spoashdown.

Now I'm looking at doing it one of three ways

Using the space marine dex as follows

A mix of Maine chapters including dreadknight and a dreadnaught, bloodangels storm raven as a landraider, grey knight termies as well termies, dark angel landspeeders and bikes ect. Lead by a possessed termie lord.

Or

Using the grey knights dex as above to make the ravens fit better, but flip side is I really want to use a thinder fire cannon as I think they look really cool.

Or

Using the chaos marines dex as above with a daemon prince leading the force, again using things like dreadknights, dark angels, blood angel storm ravens ect.

The top or bottom are my preferred options as I don't really want to add to the grey knight numbers as I'm sure there will be plenty.

Also I don't want to be seen as modelling for advantage with the ravens having better line of sight than a landraider. If I use them the stands will be lowered as much as I can with them being on the ground.

This doesn't make sense.

Are you saying for option one that you want to use a marine codex to represent a chaos force? With dreadknights as dreadnaughts, grey knight termie models as normal terminators (but they can't be armed/modelled the same, no lightning claws, powerfists, or storm shields)? You also want to use a Storm Raven as a counts as Landraider? And model your fast attack as DA Ravenwing? With a Chapter Master in terminator armour as the HQ?

Option 2, using the grey knights codex for a counts as chaos army?

Option 3, Chaos dex, but using dreadknight models for dreadnaughts, strom raven for land raider and Racenwing for bikes?

So you want an army made using GK models, but not actually using their codex?
You should just use the grey knights codex then.
Draigo = Possessed Termie Lord
Termies = Termies
Dreadknight = Daemon Princes
Dreadnaughts = Dreadnaughts
Storm Raven = Storm Raven (Even though Chaos don't have these).

It's not just grey knight models.

Lets say I use the space marine dex the army would look as follows

HQ - Space marine chapter master in termie armour ( Marine model )

Troops - 2 x 10 man Tac squads ( Marine Models ) and a 5 Man Scout Squad ( Using space wolf scouts )

Elite - Termies ( Grey Knight Termies ), Dreadnought ( Dread Knight )

Fast - Bikes ( dark angels ) and land speeders ( dark angels )

Heavy - Land raider - ( Blood angels storm raven ) and Thunder fire cannon ( Marines )

Now the idea is a possessed Chapter Master and raided and possessed the ranks of Marine chapters he has fought ect. The colours will still be present for each chapter under the chaos mutations.

I prefer not to use the grey knights dex, like I said there will be plenty of grey knights there i am sure.

I am seriously leaning towards the chaos marine dex though.

I have the following I could use before having to buy anything which is a plus.

Daemon Prince
2 x 10 man Tac squads ( Marine Models )
Termies ( Grey Knight Termies )
Dreadnought ( Dread Knight )
Raptors ( Marine Vanguard )
Land raider - ( Blood angels storm raven )

I'm sure I could convert a few oblits out of termies and some noise marines out of tac marines ect.

Its not very fluffy. The fluff is very rigid that no Grey Knights have ever fallen under the sway of Chaos. Even Ravenwing are quite unlikey to as their job is to hunt down chaos troops anyway.

I have a grey knight list which counts as chaos. I originally started with the idea that grey knights were corrupted, but when reading into it this would never happen. In the end I went with chaos space marines who have trained their arse off and made daemonic pacts to strengthen their psychic ability to hunt down the grey knights. The army is called the paladin hunters. As many of the daemons have been ones who have fought paladins in their test to become a paladin they were keen to get involved. There is a little more to the fluff, but that was it in a nut shell, worked out quite well.

Just say they come from an alternate universe/parallel dimension in which the Grey Knights fell to chaos. Give them all moustaches and you're sorted!

That stuff about no GK having turned is just Imperial propagandha. Written by their version of the Iraqi Information Minister - Mat Ward.
