Full Version: Dipped Terrain?

Dipping has been around for a while now, and gives some fantastic results.
I've never done it myself, as I feel it wouldn't fit my colour schemes, but I'm wondering, has anybody tried painting terrain with this method? It seems to me like it would be a huge time saver...

Given the size of terrain pieces generally, it would take a fairly massive bucket of stain...

If you have little care for your bath tub, then go for it tongue.gif I think it would be too impractical to do really, and wouldnt work as well on smaller scale models, as the varnish tends to pool.

I wonder if this could be used to make effective looking mud/volcanic rock...
