The skeletal thing looks a bit average but I'm liking the rest!

I generally like Reaper's work a lot, they use excellent sculptors and maintain an excellent price point, although they are tricky to get in Aus now.
Darksword are another favourite and often less heroically proportioned.

I agree.
I used to get my Reaper from Tin Soldier, Sydney.
Now Im not sure where to get them as I live in Central Qld.

I just get mine direct from Reaper.
Last couple of times they even threw in a free sample dropper bottle of paint (and these were NOT big orders).

Why wouldn't you get them direct from Reaper? (or any other manufacturer)?
I was looking at flames of war terrain in a box and on their website it's $62 NZD. The evil ones have them listed for 14.50 pounds so about half price.
Looking at retails stores in the Aus/NZ region I could get my stuff from the evil ones and go down and make a charitable donation to a local store of 25% RRP and still be getting a better deal. Interesting to see antoher company has out of whack international pricing and not just GW.
Especially strange when FoW stuff is manufactured in Malaysia so shipping to Aus /NZ should be way less than to the UK.

RRP is much more about wages, overheads and costs of distribution than shipping. That and willingness to pay. For some reason companies have australians pegged as will to pay stupid amounts.
I don't understand people who are saying it's hard to buy things. You're on the internet right? Ebay has existed for at least a decade and there's lots of cheap discount stores out there that stock reaper. Not to mention that reaper is a manufacturer/distributor.

You know, that's why I said it's tricky to get in Australia. I know of several OS websites I've used in the past for Reaper, I've got nearly the whole Chronoscope range.
Still hard to get in Australia.

Thanks guys.
I know where to buy o'seas.
I was hoping to go local on these ranges as the prices are not as screwy as GW, which I go o'seas for.

Mind Games in Melbourne have a great range of Reaper - they order in for you too if there is anything you want.
I find Reaper's sculpts a bit hit n' miss but when they hit the value for money is incredible (and when they miss it's cheap enough not to be a problem!) $6 for a metal mini - who can complain at that.

I agree but I find it hard to imagine that the UK has cheaper retail costs than Australia. Rental costs in UK must be very expensive for stores. I can't imagine that a UK retail distribution channel is substantially cheaper than Australian, unless Australian retail staff earn 100k per year.
For some reason there is a historic hold over back to the bad old days when product went through a distributor who had a licence to distribute accross the aus/nz region. All this wholesaler did was push up costs.
I can't see what value a regional ditrubution model adds to the aus/nz region compared to the stores ordering direct.

The Dragon is certainly nothing new, reminds me more of a scaled chicken than a flying lizard.

The griffon and the dragon are recast in the P65 metal, not new sculpts.
I'm fairly sure UK and US minimum wage is less than Aus, but I'm not really interested in having that argument KDC. It's clearly a willingness to pay thing mostly.

The skeleton thing would make a decent alt Bone Swarm light warbeast for Hordes
Pretty sure that Griffon is an old old model, recast probably as Chaplain Fortis said, as I remember owning one when I was in early highschool, over 10 years ago. Much better coat of paint in that pic though
