Jester of Death
im planning on doing an Angron model (for those of you that do not know who im talking about, he is the primarch of the world eaters chapter).

the part i need help with is, what should he be armed with? i know he comes from a gladitorial background, so i was thinking of maybe a gladius and buckler, or something similar.

any serious thoughts will be greatly considered.

p.s. how should i base the mini?

Gladiator doesent mean Roman Gladiator.
He was far closer to a pit fighter then anythings else.

Anything big and covered in blood should be fine.
Both axes and Glaives are very Khorne like.

im not trying to go for a khorne look. ill make him khorne if i do a chaos army.

Well as far as I know he went for the traditional red devil look. Big wings, horned head. Changes were tail ended in a metal blade and held a big sword. See old epic as they did all the primarchs.

If you want Angron to look pre-heresy, then he would look alot like a Necromunda Pit Fighter in my opinion. He became obsessed with augementations and impants to drive his warriors into killing frenzies, so I would think he himslef would be augmented.

The epic mini would be for when he became a true daemon prince and Khorne gave him a more idealised form (plus added about 90 feet to his height)

Index Astartes says taht he carried a massive runesword and wore a archaic looking suit of power armour that had bronze trimming and was a deep red colour.
