Hey im chasing a tutorial to do shiny gems and those imperial eye augmentations and scope lenses etc

i can do a prety good i juss wanna see how other people are doing it and improve my skills

its pretty simple, start with a dark colour (the colour you want the gem to be, but darker), then highlight the bottom 2/3rds of the gem in the colour you want the gem to be, then highlight the bottom 1/3 with a lighter version of the colour you want the gem to be. then put a white dot or stripe just to the left of the middle of where the first 2 colours meet.

Make it a semi-circle sorta shape when you do the highlights, if you want the gem to stand out better, do a few more coats making them only smallerish every single time.
