Good afternoon (time of post) all!
I've just discovered a really good supplier of plasticard that is in sydney and has an online store... and I'm stoked!!! I can finally do all that stuff that I've wanted to do, but haven't because I can't be bothered leaving my local area to bus it for 2 hours to the closest plasticard-shop in Adelaide that I know of! But I'm being lead to believe that this online store doesn't have the obscure stuff I really want right now...
I'm looking for help in finding paving stone/steel checkerplate/bricks textured plasticard sheets.
Can any of you tell me where I can order them online/phone, or if I can go get them in Adelaide somewhere...
Adelaide peaple, does Military Sims sell this stuff?
Many thanks.

Ben, hobby shop down my way by the name of Gawler Hobby supplies sells a lot of plasticard with textures....not sure if the ones you want are there, but....
Check 'em out at gawlerhobbysupplies.com.au, under the section Evergreen Plastic....no pics, but descriptions of stuff.........if you want a pic, lemme know, I'll go down and take one for ya, or you could always email 'em, I know the staff there have always been helpful.....

Try Koolfoam (?) on the southside for polystyrene. They sell (huge) offcuts for very cheap, and there are a lot of different thicknesses.
Can't help with the plasticard though.

Bo-Bo...where in Brissie are you?
In my line of work we use a fair bit of the stuff, in fact just taken delivery of a three pieces 4m long, 1.4m wide and deep. (No you can't have that!)
However, locally I pick up large amounts of offcuts for free. You are welcome to grab a load next time I go.
Cheers,
Mark

Ok just got an email back from Gawler... they're a no-go for the textured stuff... :-( so still having no luck there.
The sydney one is called
Casula Hobbies their address is on the site top left.
I just did a little-ish order before, about 25 bucks worth of some random stuff... 5 dollars post which is standard and expected.

Hey Gronk!
You're the man - thanks in advance for your generosity.....
Anywhere in North Brissie I can easily get to (I live in Caboolture, but work at Hendra, so I'm forever back and forth).
However, if you're a South-sider, I guess I can organise a 'special' sortie....
Thankyou as well, pullsyjr, will give them a bell....

Before you go off and pay exhorbitant prices for plasticard ...
http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...732745&frm=1728
This guy (incogz) sells plasticard for about AU$15 (incl. shipping) for a dozen sheets or so. Have dealt with them before very successfully.
OR got to Kmart and get one of those plastic "No Standing" signs or it's equivavlent. This works admirably as plasticard too.
