Hey guys heres my space marine just though id post it up for some feed bak cheers

5 Marine Bikers, Sgt, Combi-melta, Melta Bombs / 2 Meltaguns • Attack Bike, Multi-melta 225pts

7 Scouts, Sgt Telion, Sniper Rifles, Camo Cloaks 169pts

10 Tactical Marines, Sgt, Combi-melta / Meltagun, Missile Launcher • Razorback, Twin-linked Assault Cannon 260pts

10 Tactical Marines, Sgt, Combi-plasma / Plasma Gun, Missile Launcher • Razorback, Twin-linked Assault Cannon 265pts

Two Stormtalons for 155, thats 310 points, a bit of a waste drop one maybe. With a quad gun you dont need that much anti-air.

Disagree with Smas, keep the air force, but lose the defense line.

I would drop the SS on the biker boss, IMO the points paid arent worth a 4+ -> 3+ upgrade, and once you do that, you almost might as well trade him for Khan on a Bike and some MM Attack Bikes.

Stormtalons rock and 155pts for solid firepower isnt awaste in codex marines expectaly when they are flyers resonably priced compared to other flyer with similar fire power and they can dominate the air if used correctly

As for the defense lines its a triel thing quad gun with give an extra h.weapon to combat squad or scouts plus cover where i want it be a good home objective holder (well thats the plan)

Im a huge fan of karsarro but in 6th he really needs alot of support with only an ap3 weapon any uber heros will take his hits with ease, the captain in this list is purely for killing stuff in cc and takin alot of punishment 2+ arm 3+ inv and T5 isnt gonna be easy to instant kill plus karsarro is n extra 10pts n not as survivable unfortunitly

Plus outflankin is gd but is it betta then auto fail to stop enemy charging... Its a new battle plan for me

Ill see how it runs and then keep ur thoughs in mind if id doesnt do well

Defently not disagree with ur view just arguing the otherside, WA has a 6th ed tourny this weekend comin

3 attack bikes with heavy bolters. lots of shots and if u lose a wound swap ur bikes around when u move and put that guy at the back. helps to spread wounds.

There isnt a rule that I have found about removing full models, im hoping I;ve missed it but...

Yeah it is.

The only concern Id have for Bike armies is that rapid fire weapons dont count for relentless, so you wont be shooting + assaulting as effectively.

Relentless is;

May shoot Heavy, Salvo and ordance (?) as if stationary.
May also assault after firing these and rapid fire weapons.

Sp yes, bikers can rapid-fire + assault still.
Its not in the first clause because ALL models can fire rapid fire weapons as if 5ed relentless, but is mentioned in the second clause to allow assaulting afterwards

of coarse u can spread wounds. if 2 units are shooting at ur unit u take from closest moddel first. if the 2 untis are one on left one on right then u cant actualy take them from the other side if u had already lost a wound. so yes u should be able to move ur attackbikes around (as long as one doest die) to the back when u mov next turn. its the same for 3 speeders or anything like that. u lose a hull point then move it to the back next turn.

i hope i have understood that correct. the wound rules are so confusing.

have played two games with list and it preformed extremly well smile.gif
