That's cheezy and doesn't work that way if Alpha is worded in that fashion... you wouldn't take the heat but you'd still only do the ammount of damage required to take the mech from no-heat to shutdown.. granted you could do it every turn but it's not unlimited damage per shot.

Yup, GWNY is correct....unless you have a heat dial that goes to infinity, only a finite number of clicks available..........wether the heat affects you or not is what the Moon Terrain does.......

Don't feel bad Ulrik... I haven't played the game since the second expansion came out.. it's just that most of their rules are a lot more clearly worded that say 40k's smile.gif

Yeah, it can be pretty straight forward, but other times it can really hurt to read. Combat Formations, NOE level...

They were actually running the "If there is no heat ever gained, unlimited damage alpha strike" at Cancon.

You have to love the sculpts they produce though.

You have to love the sculpts they produce though.[/quote]Nothing on the original Battlemechs. The only good sculpts are the ones they did from original Battlemechs, the ones they didn't stuff up that is. Very few of their own designed sculpts impress me.
