Love the bases! The heavy weapon bases came up well. The dog is a nice touch.

Really like what you've done so far.
That crazy green thread had me laughing hard - how mad...
Now is it just me or are those Ratlings Iraqi? Personal opinion is that they have large bushy beards... one thing would sort that out, I think - having the balaclava go over the nose (especially with the comment about filtering the smell of burning xenos)
Everything else is looking sweet.

More Guard can only be a good thing. Especially with your painting, and basing skill. Personally, I love the bases more than the minis, but it's hard to choose between the two!

loving the colours mate,
try a bit of gloss varnish on the toe caps of thier boots to get the prim and proper look going.
nice work on the combat engineers, altough i cant help thinking than thier SGT was sent on a UN peace keeping deployment... oh well
