So, struggling to find time to model, let alone paint the army.

How is everyone going with it all?


I have my test model painted, and by tonight bar about 10 models I will have the whole army assembled.

About 20+ models to paint, most of the army is done, all objectives, need the HEro though!

Na, due to other commitments, I've gone soft and won't be taking my brand new rw army... I just don't want to rush them. So've I've gone all fluffy and themey this year. Not sure how it will venture on the battle field...

I started painting last night......not going so well hahah. but ah well....

i have 5 destroyers 30% painted and a tomb spyder finished.....

Well my tally was completely wrong, I have about 40 models to finish so plenty to keep me busy over the next few weeks!

Brand new army, all thats left is the drybrush, flock and slime for the bases on 3 units, and a hero model. Sad thing is, it will problably be done on the night before, as per usual, given how much other stuff needs painting between now and liber... 2 tourneys in 2 weeks does that.

ok so my hero and objectives are finished........

have 8 full models to paint, and touch ups over the whole army.....


then fluff and a display board....



how the hell am i this far finished with 2 weeks till the event.

Two-thirds of my army were undercoated on Saturday night.

Thats a lie. The 2nd wraithlord and shining spears are mostly done. Everything else is mostly unassembled.

Well I am looking forward to seeing all these pretty armies on Sunday!

I will be there on Sunday morning to get all enthused about painting to try and pick up my flagging painting routine!

I will also bring my new camera to take some extreme close-up shots! Yeah baby - supper macro FTW!

Now - get back to painting fellas!

I should probably pull out my miniatures and touch them up a bit. They suffered some battle damage when I forgot to close my case and picked it up at Leviathon a little while back. I still need to do 2 more 40mm objectives though.

You mean I've cheesed up my entire army just to fight Necrons in the first round, and you're not bringing Necrons?

Well gaurdsmen platoon do take time, but getting there, details and final highlights, basing for 40 models!

And fluff!!

Painted my objectives; rebased the hero (my original Morbus figure); and spruced up a Nurgle sorcerer for the palanquin.

Everything fairly much done except the avatar... half done, looking way kewlies though IMO.

Ok...so...

i finished my uni assignment yesterday arvo, and proceeded to go on a 4 hour BT clear (wow = the devil) so lost a lot of painting time last night.

Suffice to say, not much has changed from my previous photo. Still lots of black undercoat showing through.

Will soon have 3 colours on though

Sigh... so I was up all night fiddling in photoshop... left the USB key at home this morning so couldn't take them to the printers.
Had to taxi it home and back, so the army lists/theme each of the fatties I play will get will have wound up costing me around a hundred all up T_T
Better enjoy them!!

(Being forgetful is full of win, last tournament, I left all my codexes/templates etc in the car at the airport).
