Hey all,
So, still planning that big-ass BB stadium, and I've decided that it needs FANS. The ones for my team aren't too bad (goblins, a troll or two, maybe a few others) but for everyone on the other bleachers.... yeeeeaaaah.
So, does anyone know where I can obtain civilians, townsfolk, specialists (random wizards, beergirls frumpy or otherwise, the occasional doc) etc? I think I've found a suitable dwarf beer wench at the Battlefield Berlin site, but apart from that I'm a bit lost.
Cheers!

Oohhh, there are plenty out there that Ive encountered on my travels, but I never SAVE these sites. Youll mostly find them for D&D etc... But there are lots available so dont despair. Someone will point you in the right direction.
A good point of call to start might be Eureka?

Hasslefree miniatures has some villager-types I believe.

Yeah mostly D&D miniatures, but I think you'll have trouble finding seated figures.
Of course you could just use random figures from any old game system, including 40K.
Why not? Its not like BB has any basis in regular WFB fluff.
Typing "Townsfolk" in the Reaper mini finder is a good start.

The cheapest ones I've found are the Mega Minaiture Dungeon Decor mob. They do a range of packs that generally retail between $16US to $20US for 24 miniatures. I am not aware of any sponsors that carry them so if requested I'll post two places I have used that carry them.
They can look a bit ordinary over the web but I have a number of the packs and they are fine in the flesh. Old school rpg miniature quality. They do modern civilians, townsfolk, guards, adventurers, amazons, thieves, dwarves, Arabian & medievil courts, halflings, villagers, people in stocks, animals, trophy heads and a few others. They are true 25mm but are the best way I can think of to cheaply fill out a stadium.
Cheers

Shotgun, your ideas intrigue me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter (read: PM on its way).
As for seating them..... I was gonna start converting for a living before I got offered a cushy engineering job. So no dramas there

I'll have to have a look into HassleFree too... thanks for all the ideas sofar

anyone else?

I believe there's also a set of townfolk figures in the pipeline for the GW Collectors range - should be available sometime later this year.
